The mission of The Shelter for Women and Children
is to provide safe, clean, temporary housing to the homeless
women, with or without, children in Henderson County, Kentucky
and the surrounding geographic area. |

Residents are offered and encouraged to participate
in a variety of
services designed to promote self-sufficiency and self-determination
with the ultimate goal of maintaining an independent lifestyle in the
